Extremely Disappointing Experience – Rude Staff and Unreturned Deposit
I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience at Berjaya Eden Park London Hotel was deeply frustrating and disappointing. I am still waiting for my deposit refund, which was supposed to be returned over two weeks ago. When I called the hotel to follow up, I encountered Steven at the reception, who was shockingly rude and unprofessional.
Instead of helping, he abruptly cut off the call while I was calmly trying to ask about the refund. I called back immediately, and he told me to “call again another day” without offering any explanation for his behaviour—or for the missing deposit. When I did call back as instructed to ask why he had hung up on me, and I want to speak to his manager, he simply cut the line again.
This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable. I was met with zero courtesy, zero accountability, and no sign of even basic customer service. For a hotel located in central London, this experience was beyond disappointing.
I strongly advise other travellers to think twice before booking here. If you run into any issues, don’t expect support or even basic respect from the staff.
